July Martyrs' Day celebrated with due dignity in Rangamati

July Martyrs' Day was celebrated with due dignity in Rangamati. On the occasion of the day, a discussion meeting was held in Rangamati at the initiative of the district administration. 
 
The meeting held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner at 10 am on Wednesday  was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habib Ullah Maruf. 
 
District Superintendent of Police Dr. SM Farhad Hossain, Deputy Director of the Local Government Department and Municipality Administrator Md. Mobarak Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Additional District Magistrate Pathan Md. Saifuzzaman, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuen Khisa, District BNP General Secretary Adv. Mamunur Rashid Mamun, District Jamaat Ameer Professor Abdul Alim, along with political figures, government officials, journalists and people from various walks of life were present in the discussion meeting on July Martyrs' Day.
 
 The speakers at the discussion meeting said, July Martyrs' Day reminds us of the history of our sacrifice. We must forget all political differences and work together for the welfare of the nation. The speakers called for standing against injustice and following the ideals of the martyrs to build a well-ordered and safe society.
 
Before the discussion meeting, a documentary on the July Uprising was shown.
