Monthly crime review meeting held at Barishal Metro Headquarters

The Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) held its monthly crime review meeting for the month of May at the conference room of the BMP headquarters on June 29 at 11:00 AM.
The meeting was presided over by Commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police Md. Ashiq Sayeed.
At the beginning of the meeting, the BMP Commissioner reviewed the sector-wise crime picture of the month of May with the comparative crime report of the previous month and the corresponding month of the previous year. He gave various important directions to the field level officers to keep the law and order situation in the city under complete control.
To complete the investigation of cases quickly and ensure the issuance of warrants.
Taking strict measures to prevent drug trafficking, gambling, online gambling, theft, banditry, eve-teasing, militancy, and juvenile delinquency.
Keeping in mind the current cyber crimes, the BMP Commissioner has ordered to strengthen cyber patrolling. He laid special emphasis on the BMP's cyber team to play a more proactive role in reporting cyber crimes and identifying criminals.
Other senior BMP officials present at the crime review meeting were Md. Abdul Hannan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Management), Sushant Sarkar, PPM, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Md. Sharfuddin, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic), Mohammad Imdad Hussain, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North), Palash Kanti Nath, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DB).
Other senior officials of BMP and police members of various ranks were also present.
