Nizam Uddin new administrator of Daulatdia Union Parishad

To avoid public suffering and to streamline other services and deliver services to the doorsteps of the people, a second phase of administrators has been appointed in Daulatdia Union of Goalanda Upazila of Rajbari.
Upazila ICT Affairs Officer Md. Nizam Uddin joined the Daulatdia Union Parishad as the administrator on Sunday at around 10 am. Earlier, he joined the council on Sunday after receiving permission to join from the Rajbari Deputy Commissioner on Thursday, July 31.
At the time, UP Secretary HM Mintu, along with all UP members, village police, entrepreneurs and the public greeted the administrator with flowers at the Union Parishad.
It is known that the term of the members of Daulatdia Union Parishad, including the chairman, expired on December 30 last year. Abdur Rahman Mondal served as the chairman of Daulatdia Union Parishad for a long time of 5 years. Since the end of his term, Goalanda Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Khokon Uzzaman has served as the administrator of the council. He served from December 4 last year to July 30 this year. Due to his transfer, the people of Daulatdia suffered for almost two long months. Considering the suffering of the people of the union, Upazila ICT Affairs Officer Md. Nizam Uddin took charge as the administrator of Daulatdia Union Parishad from August 3.
It is worth noting that the term of the chairmen of two of the four unions in the upazila (Daulatdia and Devgram) has been cancelled due to their expiry. The local government has appointed administrators to fill these vacancies.
