Police arrested Abdul Majid Molla (40), a notorious police broker, in Porsha, Naogaon. Majid is the son of the deceased Mohir Uddin of Ghatnagar Peyadapara village.
According to police sources on July 19, a person Majid was arrested by Porsha Police
under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code in the wake of a GD filed against him at the police station. He was sent to court on Sunday.
There are multiple allegations against Majid that he had been brokering various land-related matters at the police station for a long time. The police have confirmed the matter.
