Patuakhali BNP Conference: Brisk preparations after 23 years, leaders, activists once again energized

After a long 23 years, the District BNP Conference 2025 is going to be held in Patuakhali on July 2, and extensive arrangements are underway across the district around the conference. Banners and festoons are covering the highways of the district, starting from the alleys.
This conference is being organized to reorganize the Patuakhali District BNP Committee and to energize the leaders and activists.
With only two days left for the conference, 80 percent of the preparations for the event have already been completed. The future of the District BNP and its associate organizations depends on this important committee.
After the announcement of the conference date from the central office on June 24, leaders and activists at all levels of the district have been moving. In this year's conference, the party's heavyweight candidates have announced that 3 will contest for the post of president, 6 for the post of general secretary and 5 for the post of organizing secretary. BNP Central Committee Vice Chairman and former Home and Commerce Minister Altaf Hossain Chowdhury arrived in Patuakhali this morning to make the conference a success.
Leaders and activists have been gathering across the town since morning to welcome him. It is learnt that 1,414 voters from 14 units, including 30 members of the convening committee, will be present to cast their votes.
