Previous fascist govt brought education system to brink of destruction: State Minister Sohel Manjur

State Minister for Housing and Public Works Ahmed Sohel Manjur Sumon said that the previous fascist government had brought the education system to the brink of destruction. The current government has worked to revitalize that education system. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the freshmen reception at Kaukhali Government College in Pirojpur on Wednesday,.
He also said that the current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has been working to make the education system student-friendly since taking office.
The new arrival ceremony, chaired by Government Kaukhali College Chhatra Dal President Sabuj Kumar Robi Das and moderated by Senior Vice President Solaiman Kazi and General Secretary Shakib Talukder, was attended by Upazila Executive Officer Rehena Akhter, Upazila BNP President SM Ahsan Kabir, General Secretary HM Deen Mohammad, and Acting Principal of Government Kaukhali College Md. Nazrul Islam Babu as special guests.
Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Md. Moniruzzaman Mia, former Member Secretary Md. Shafiul Azam VP Dulal, District Chhatra Dal President Salauddin Talukder Kumar, General Secretary Mahmud Hasan Shahin, Kaukhali Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Al Mahmud Sumon, Member Secretary Shoaib Siddiqui and others spoke at the event. College teachers, students, guardians and political party leaders were present at the event.
Later, the minister distributed sports equipment to various educational institutions of the upazila in the Upazila Parishad meeting room.
