
Rickshaw pullers' march in Kishoreganj on July 1st anniversary

On the occasion of the anniversary of the July Uprising in Kishoreganj, the District Council has undertaken various programs over two days in Kishoreganj with the theme "July Revolution in My Eyes".
A rally of rickshaw pullers started from the city's old stadium at noon on Saturday (August 2).
The exceptional march of rickshaw pullers in memory of the martyrs of Kishoreganj with slogans of "Jul" in protest rickshaw-vans with wheels spinning caught everyone's attention. It ended at the Shilpakala Academy.
Later, the July Festival and Parents' Rally titled "July Revolution in My Eyes" was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Khanam. On this occasion, July Corner, Free Medical Camp, Anti-Drug Campaign, Green School, Clean School, Entrepreneur Fair, Plastic-in-Trees and Quiz Competition were organized.
Earlier in the morning, the Narasunda River in the city was cleaned of filth at the initiative of young people.
Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Khanam said, in the idea competition organized by the District Council in memory of the July martyrs, 33 excellent ideas were received from the youth. Out of these, 3 best ideas were selected. The Deputy Commissioner also believes that the ideas received from the youth will play an important role in building the future of Bangladesh.
