Woman's body recovered from pond two days after disappearance in Sakhipur

Two days after her disappearance in Sakhipur, Tangail, Sakhipur Police recovered the body of a widowed woman at around 9:30 am on Wednesday.
The deceased woman is Parveen Akhter (45), a resident of Sakhipur Municipality, the wife of the deceased Humayun. Locals saw the woman's feet floating in a pond with sedges on the south side of the deceased woman's husband's house adjacent to Sakhipur Upazila Health Complex this morning. Later, the locals and family members informed the Sakhipur Police, and the police recovered the woman's body.
It is worth noting that the deceased widowed woman, Parveen Akhter (45), went missing two days ago.
After the disappearance, the woman's relatives and family members started searching for her. Unable to find her, they filed a kidnapping case at Sakhipur Police Station on Tuesday. After the woman's body was recovered this morning, there was a stir in the area and a shadow of mourning fell on the area.
Sakhipur Police Station OC Md. Helal Uddin (PPM) said that the body of the deceased woman was recovered this morning. The family members had filed a kidnapping case at Sakhipur Police Station yesterday regarding the disappearance of the deceased widow.
