JU hosts annual Research Seminar at Faculty of Business Studies

Jahangirnagar University’s Faculty of Business Studies hosts its annual research project seminar on Sunday, showcasing 25 university-funded research papers.
JU Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr. Kamrul Ahsan inaugurated the event at around 10:30 am, highlighting the university’s commitment to advance academic research despite national challenges.
Addressing the event, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan said “While the national education budget continues to shrink, Jahangirnagar University has increased funding for faculty research and improved facilities. We are prioritizing research to elevate our academic standards,”
He also urged the University’s faculties to publish in university and international journals to enhance JU’s global ranking.
The seminar featured special guests, including Professor Dr. Abhinaya Chandra Saha, Vice-Chancellor of The Millennium University, and Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Mahfuz from Jagannath University’s Marketing Department. Professor Dr. Nigar Sultana, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, delivered the welcome speech.
