JU signs MoU with DIU

Jahangirnagar University (JU) authorities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Daffodil International University (DIU) to foster education, research, seminars and workshops on Tuesday.
JU Treasurer Prof Dr M Abdur Rab and Daffodil International University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr S M Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution in the council room of the new administrative building at around 4:00 pm
The signing event was attended by key figures, including JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Kamrul Ahsan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, DIU’s Prof Dr. M.A.R. Kabir (Civil Engineering), Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies Prof Dr. Md. Kabirul Islam, Director of External Affairs Prof Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof Liza Sharmin, and Professor Dr. Aleya, among others.
Addressing the event, Professor Dr Kamrul Ahsan said, “As a result of this arrangement, the two institution’s mutual cooperation will be expanded. Faculty, Students, and reserchers will be able to work together on a variety of academic projects and share information as neded.”
Both universities will participate in seminars, workshops, and other academic events as well as bilateral cooperation in research and teaching under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding.
