Bangladesh Army Langadu Zone launched a raid on the basis of secret news on allegations of illegal salary of government food warehouse in Karlachari Bazar in Rangamati on Friday. 

On the basis of secret news, Zone captain Lt. Col. Morshed SPP PSC was directed by the Karlachari sub -zone commander Lieutenant Siddiqur Rahman under the direction of the Zone captain Lt. Col. Morshed SPP.

Later in the afternoon, Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Kafil Uddin Mahmud operated the mobile court via the mobile court, the owner of Shamim Store, Yusuf Store and Billal Store. A total of 150 sacks of government rice were seized from the Morturja shop. Later, the three were given a fine of Tk 20,000 separately.

Bangladesh Army Langadu Zone seized 5 more sacks of rice while passing Kaptai Lake in separate operations.  The Bangladesh Army submitted the sack rice seized by the Maine Zone to the government treasury.  

Executive Magistrate Kafil Uddin Mahmud said, those who have received the rice have been fined. He further warned that in the future, if there is evidence of illegal reserves or sales of government goods, the respective shops will be sealed and imprisoned in accordance with the Penal Code.

Zone captain said that the Bangladesh Army is always working for the welfare of the country. Such activities of the Bangladesh Army will continue in the future.

Such an initiative of the administration has returned to the locals. The local people expressed their gratitude to the Bangladesh Army Langadu Zone, saying that the Bangladesh Army is a place of trust in the common people. If the army looks at the army, the people who are stunned will be safe.
