Awami League loyalists embedded in administration: Rizvi
Rupganj (Narayanganj) Correspondent
Senior Joint Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, has alleged that Awami League loyalists are entrenched across different levels of the administration.
He claimed that despite the presence of an interim government, criminals are moving freely, working to undermine the authority of the current setup through “planned efforts.”
Rizvi made these remarks on Saturday in Rupganj, Narayanganj, after extending assistance on behalf of Amra BNP Poribar (We Are BNP Family) to a former Chhatra Dal leader who was injured in a recent attack by miscreants.
He further stated, “In the past, Sheikh Hasina carried out all criminal activities based on the advice of four individuals. During the mass student uprising, acting on their counsel, the government opened fire on students and the public, killing many with bullets and bombs.”
Earlier in the day, Rizvi, as chief adviser of Amra BNP Poribar, inquired about the health condition of Dolon Bhuiyan, the former president of Ward 1 of Bhulta Union Chhatra Dal, and handed over financial assistance to him.
Present at the event were Amra BNP Poribar convener Atikur Rahman Ruman, member secretary Momin Mithun, along with other organizational members.
District activists Member secretary Moshiur Rahman Roni and several local leaders and activists were also present.
