Bandarban Jubo Dal protests deterioration of law, order situation in country

Sohel Kanti Nath, Bandarban

In protest against the deterioration of law and order across the country, disruption of the educational environment in institutions, and the planned attempts by various secret organizations to create mobs, Bandarban District Jubo Dal organized a protest rally and gathering.

On this occasion, on Thursday  afternoon, a protest rally was taken out from the central Eidgah ground in Bandarban town. Earlier, leaders and activists gathered from various parts of the district carrying banners and placards with slogans. Over 500 leaders and activists participated in the rally. After circling the main roads of the town, the rally ended at the open stage where the assembly was held.

Speakers at the assembly said that the law and order situation is deteriorating nationwide due to the indifference of the caretaker government. Conspiracies are still ongoing against the country.

They further stated that secret organizations are conspiring to create chaos to destroy democracy and law and order in the country. The defeated forces of 1971 have started propaganda against the Zia family and Tarique Rahman. Moreover, some secret organizations are plotting one conspiracy after another to lead the country’s educational institutions and youth astray, disrupting the proper educational environment and trying to create instability nationwide.

This conspiracy to push students’ futures into darkness will not be tolerated under any circumstances. To combat such attempts, Bandarban District Jubo Dal along with all district, upazila, and education institution-based units in the country remain vigilant and urged everyone to stay alert. The speakers also said that many are trying to fish in troubled waters by spreading propaganda against BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman, and they will not be spared.

Speakers at the assembly included Bandarban District Jubo Dal President Zahir Uddin Masum, General Secretary Arif Chowdhury, Joint Secretary Advocate Amin Ullah Biplob, Joint Secretary Md. Firoz, Organizational Secretary Morshed Bin Omar, and leaders from district and upazila Jubo Dal and BNP.
