July Martyrs’ Day observed by Moulvibazar District Administration

July Martyrs’ Day was observed in Moulvibazar at the initiative of the district administration on Wednesday.
On the occasion of the Day, a discussion meeting and storytelling event were held at District Shilpakala Academy Auditorium , presided over by Deputy Commissioner Md. Israil Hossain.
Reminiscences were shared by Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Abul Khayer, District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Engineer Md. Shahed Ali, Member of the Convening Committee of District BNP Md. Fakhrul Islam, District Ameer of Khelafat Majlish Maulana Fakhrul Islam, senior journalist S.M. Umed Ali, District Coordinator of the NCP Ehsan Zakaria, Student Discrimination Movement’s Tanzia Shishir, Kazi Manzur Ahmed, Abdus Salam, Shah Misbah, Hasanul Banna Sojib, Dilruba Akter Tama, Wadud Faruq, Shafiqul Islam, Mozammel Haque Liton, Suman Bhuiyan, journalist Hossain Ahmad, among others.
The students recalled the brutal attacks by the fascist Awami League and Police League in Moulvibazar district during the JUSL (Jatio Uddhar Shikhkharthi League) revolutionary movement.
