BNP holds congratulatory procession rally in Satkhira congratulating President, BNP Secretary General

A congratulatory procession and rally were held in Satkhira to mark the appointment of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir as the President of Bangladesh and BNP Senior Joint Convener Ruhul Kabir Rizvi as the Acting Secretary General.
The procession, organized by former district BNP general secretary Sheikh Tariqul Hasan and district BNP, its organs and associate organizations, started from Shaheed Abdur Razzak Park in Satkhira at 5 pm on Monday. The procession circled various roads in the city and ended with a rally in front of the transport counter.
Former district BNP general secretary Sheikh Tariqul Hasan addressed the gathering as the chief guest, chaired by district BNP leader Sirajul Islam.former coordinator of the district Jubo Dal Ainul Islam Nanta, BNP leader Ahsanul Qadir Swapan, president of the district Swechchhasebak Dal Advocate Kamruzzaman Bhutto, general secretary Sheikh Sharifuzzaman Sajeeb, former president Sohel Ahmed Manik, former president of the district Tanti Dal Rafiqul Alam Babu, president of the district Chhatra Dal Abu Raihan, general secretary Arghya, former co-coordinator of the district Jubo Dal Alimuzzaman Alim, Farid Uddin, etc. Leaders of the district and upazila BNP branches and associate organizations were present at the time.
Leaders and activists raised various slogans in the procession and rally and congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on being elected President and Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on being nominated as Acting Secretary General.
