Bangladesh Coast Guard has distributed educational materials to spread education in Mongla
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq shared the information in a press on Sunday afternoon.
The press release said that since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has stepped forward to assist disadvantaged, helpless, and affected people in disaster response and socio-economic development in coastal and riverine regions.
As part of that initiative, at 1100 hours on 3 August 2025, the Coast Guard West Zone distributed various educational materials among students of three educational institutions in the Joymoni area of Mongla upazila in Bagerhat district.
At that time, a total of 200 students from Joymoni Secondary School, Joymonirghol Government Primary School, and Joymonirghol Darussunnat Independent Ebtedayee and Hafezia Madrasa received exercise books, pens, rulers, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners as educational support.
Such humanitarian and welfare initiatives by the Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue in the future.
