Coast Guard provides free medical care, medicines to 564 people in N'ganj

Bangladesh Coast Guard provided free medical treatment and essential medicines to 564 underprivileged individuals during a medical campaign conducted at Coast Guard Base Kashipur under Fatullah Police Station in Narayanganj district on Tuesday.
Coast Guard Headquarters Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon said this in a press release on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Coast Guard officials, the specialized medical campaign was organized under the management of Coast Guard Dhaka Zone and ran from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday . A team of medical personnel evaluated patients, provided healthcare consultations, and distributed prescribed medicines free of cost to local residents.
Bangladesh Coast Guard routinely conducts humanitarian outreach programs and regular medical camps to support vulnerable communities in coastal and riverine regions across the country, the press release added.
