The holy Eid Milad-un-Nabi was celebrated in Porsha, Naogaon, organized by the Upazila Administration on Saturday.
On the occasion, a discussion meeting and prayer meeting were held at the Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center.
UNO Rakibul Islam and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nabila Ferdous, Islamic Foundation Mosque-based Children and Mass Education Program Porsha Field Supervisor Mallika Parveen spoke on the life and work of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). LGED Engineer ANM Sultanul Imam, Primary Education Officer Sajjad Hossain, Youth Development Officer Rafiqul Islam, URC Instructor Ashraful Alam, Islamic Foundation Porsha GC Ishaq Ali, teachers of mosque-based children and mass education programs and concerned persons were present at the time.
In addition, Islamic cultural programs including Milad, Hamdnat were held in various educational institutions of the upazila on the occasion of the day.
