Barishal District Jamaat Ameer and party parliamentary candidate for Barishal-4 (Hijla-Mehendiganj-Kazirhat) constituency, Prof Maulana Mohammad Abdul Jabbar, said “Jamaat-e-Islami is now the symbol of hope and aspiration for the persecuted, oppressed, deprived, and destitute people.
The upcoming election will be an election of victory for the ‘scale’ symbol; with Allah’s help and people’s love, victory will surely be ours Inshallah. Therefore, without fearing the bloodshot eyes of falsehood, we must move forward toward victory in the upcoming national parliamentary election through financial, mental, and physical sacrifices.”
He said these while speaking as the chief guest at an election preparatory meeting at the Kazirhat Thana Jamaat office on Friday.
The preparatory meeting for the upcoming national parliamentary election was presided over by Kazirhat Thana Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abul Hossain and conducted by Thana Secretary Kazi Lutfor Rahman.
Special guests at the meeting were district Jamaat working committee member and member secretary of Jamaat’s election management committee for Barishal-4 Advocate Zahir Uddin Yamin, district Jamaat working committee member and Kazirhat Thana supervisor Advocate Md. Azam Khan, and district Jamaat’s publicity-media team member Mujahidul Islam Yusuf.
Various levels of responsible leaders of Thana and Union Jamaat were present at the meeting.
At the meeting, directions were given regarding adopting future action plans, increasing public engagement, and strengthening publicity and campaign activities.
