The construction work of the Model Mosque in Chandanish in Chittagong was inaugurated by Religious Adviser AFM. Khaled Hossain on Saturday in the area adjacent to
the Gasabaria College Gate in the Arkan highway.
UNO Rajiv Hossain, former divisional head of the Islamic Foundation Abu Ahsan Mohamed Borhan Uddin, Jamaat nominee from Chittagong -Sahadat hossin, Human Rights activist and BNP leader MA Hashem Raju and Jamaat local leaders including Qutub Uddin were present. The expenditure for the model mosque has been estimated at Tk 17 cr.
