Jamaat holds protest rally in Akkelpur demanding 5- point

As part of the program announced by the center of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, a protest march and rally were held in Akkelpur, Joypurhat, to achieve five-point demands. On Friday afternoon, a protest march was taken out from the party office at the initiative of Akkelpur Upazila Jamaat. The procession circled the main roads of the city and met at the Akkelpur Hospital gate for the rally.
The rally was presided over by Upazila Ameer Maulana Shafiul Hasan Dipur, and was addressed by District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Advocate Mamunur Rashid, Joypurhat-2 constituency MP candidate SM Rashedul Alam Sabuj, and Municipal Ameer Zakaria Hossain.
Also present were Upazila Secretary Maulana Mostafizur Rahman, Baitulmal Secretary Habibur Rahman, Office Secretary Mostafizur Rahman, Municipal Secretary Ripon Hossain and other leaders and activists.
The speakers called on the government to immediately accept the five-point demands.
