
Notorious drug dealer Abdullah, two others arrested in Srimangal

Two people, including notorious drug dealer Abdullah, who is accused in multiple cases and a convicted fugitive, have been arrested in a raid by the Srimangal Police Station in Mouravibazar on Saturday.
112 pieces of Yaba tablets have been also recovered.
A police team including SI Nirastra Sajeeb Chowdhury, on the instructions of Sreemangal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Aminul Islam, conducted a raid and arrested notorious drug dealer Md. Abdullah (35), accused in multiple cases, from Ramnagar Gazipur village of Ashidron Union.
The arrested Abdullah is the son of Nurul Haque of Gazipur village. Police also arrested Amjad Hossain, son of Siraj Mia of the same village. During this time, police members recovered 112 pieces of Yaba tablets from the custody of Abdullah and Amjad.
Srimangal Police Station OC Md. Aminul Islam said, the arrested drug dealer Abdullah GR 338/23 (Srimangal) is a fugitive accused under a warrant sentenced to one year's rigorous imprisonment and 15 days' non-compulsory imprisonment for non-payment of a fine of Tk 2,000.
After filing a case against him under the Narcotics Control Act, he was sent to jail through the Moulvibazar District Magistrate's Court.
