70th anniv reunion of Nurangar Ashalata Secondary School in Shyamnagar held

True success belongs to those who set examples through honor and knowledge. The notion that owning a lot of money means success is mistaken. 
 
We envision a Bangladesh driven by ethics, justice, and knowledge. Speaking as the chief guest at the 70th-anniversary reunion of Nurangar Ashalata Secondary School in Shyamnagar Upazila, Satkhira, held on Monday  at 11:30 a.m.
 
Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, emphasized these points. He stated that we must nurture our children to become future leaders of the country and society with the qualities required for leadership. Addressing the students, the chief guest urged them to find inspiration in those who have gained knowledge and earned respect from this school. 
 
 The opening remarks were delivered by Cabinet Secretary Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rashid. Special guests included former Chairman of the National Board of Revenue Dr. Muhammad Abdul Majid, Senior Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division Siddiq Zobayer, and Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Momtaz Ahmed. The event was presided over by the school’s retired headmaster, Md. Abu Bakar Siddique. Invited guests present included Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md. Firoz Sarkar, DIG of Khulna Range Md. Rezaul Haque, Chairman of the Jessore Board of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Mosammat Asma Begum, Satkhira Deputy Commissioner Mostak Ahmed, and Satkhira Superintendent of Police Md. Monirul Islam. Others in attendance were Shyamnagar Upazila Executive Officer Mosha: Rani Khatun, Deputy Director of Secondary and Higher Education Division Khulna Md. Kamruzzaman, Satkhira District Education Officer Muhammad Abul Khair, and Officer-in-Charge of Shyamnagar Police Station Humayun Kabir Mollah, among others. Later, the chief guest, Sheikh Bashir Uddin, visited the temporary storage facility used for preserving sacrificial animal hides at Jamia Hammadiya Madrasa in Chandipur area of Shyamnagar Upazila. He told reporters that this year, the government has created a favorable environment for preserving hides by supplying salt free of charge. Businesspeople can take advantage of this opportunity by marketing the preserved hides at an appropriate time to earn profits. In response to a question, Sheikh Bashir Uddin said that work on the Satkhira Vetkhali road will commence within the next two weeks.
 
 The reunion program at Nurangar Ashalata Secondary School continued with reminiscing sessions until the afternoon and cultural performances in the evening. Additionally, in the morning, the chief guest unveiled the cover of a commemorative book titled “Shikor.”
