To mark the historic Mass Uprising Day,  a huge joyous procession was taken out in Ishwardi town at the initiative of  BNP, Ishwardi Upazila and Municipal branches on Tuesday. 

The joyous procession was led by former Ishwardi Upazila BNP President, freedom fighter Shamsuddin Ahmed Malitha, President of the Rail Sramik League Takandriya Executive Committee Ahsan Habib, SM, Fazlur Rahman, former Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Humayun Kabir Dulal and Municipal Jubo Dal Convener Zakir Hossain Jewel. Top leaders including the speakers expressed their commitment to build the future Bangladesh under the leadership of Tareq Zia, who is the purveyor of the activities of the Hasina government. 

In the victory procession, which was taken out with the participation of about ten thousand leaders and activists, leaders and activists gathered at the central bus terminal with separate processions from seven unions and nine wards of the municipal council of Ishwardi. Later, the huge procession started from Railgate Zero Point, passed through the Post Office intersection, Akbar intersection and Chand Ali intersection, and took part in a huge street meeting in front of Gate No. 1 of the market. On the other hand, a separate victory procession was taken out from the Post Office area in the afternoon. The procession was led by Pabna District BNP Convener Habibur Rahman Habib, BNP Central Committee Member Ishwardi Municipal BNP Former President Mokhlesur Rahman Bablu, Ishwardi Municipal BNP Former Organizing Secretary Ajmal Hossain Dablu, Dashuria Union BNP President Sourav Malitha, and BNP leader Rezaul Karim VP, former VP of Ishwardi Government College. Shahin, student leader Rafiqul Islam Nayan, and leaders of Ishwardi Upazila and Municipal BNP, Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Mahila Dal at all levels. On the other hand, another victory procession was taken out in the city in the afternoon by Jamaat-e-Islami. Pabna District Jamaat Ameer Professor Abu Taleb Mandal. The procession started from the city's Tempostand and ended at Alhaj More.
